Terms of Use for ANHAD

By downloading, installing, or using ANHAD ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
1. Acceptable Use
You agree to use ANHAD only for lawful, spiritual, and personal purposes. You must not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
- Use the app for commercial purposes without permission
- Attempt to bypass security measures or access restricted features
- Distribute malicious content through the app
- Abuse streaming services or APIs integrated into the app
2. User Responsibilities
As a user, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring your device meets minimum system requirements
- Maintaining a stable internet connection for streaming features
- Backing up your local data (bookmarks, progress) if desired
- Keeping your device secure to protect locally stored information
3. Content Ownership & Intellectual Property
3.1 Gurbani Content
All Gurbani (sacred scripture) is sourced from publicly available sources such as BaniDB and is considered part of the public religious domain. ANHAD does not claim ownership of any Gurbani text.
3.2 App Design & Code
The ANHAD application design, codebase, and original assets are © 2026 ANHAD. All rights reserved unless otherwise stated in open-source licenses.
3.3 Third-Party Content
Live streams, audio recordings, and external APIs are owned by their respective providers. ANHAD acts as an aggregator and does not claim ownership of third-party content.
4. Streaming Disclaimer
ANHAD provides access to live Gurbani streams from various sources (e.g., Darbar Sahib Live, Amritvela Trust). We do not control:
- Stream availability or quality
- Content accuracy or scheduling
- Third-party streaming policies
Streams may experience interruptions, delays, or unavailability. ANHAD is not responsible for issues with third-party streaming services.
5. Software Updates
ANHAD may provide periodic updates to:
- Fix bugs and improve performance
- Add new features
- Enhance security
- Comply with platform requirements
Updates may be automatic or manual. Continued use of outdated versions may result in reduced functionality.
6. Warranty Disclaimer
ANHAD is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Accuracy of content
We do not guarantee that the app will meet your specific needs or expectations.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ANHAD and its developer shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
- Service interruptions or technical failures
- Third-party content or streaming issues
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the app is to discontinue use.
8. Termination
You may terminate your use of ANHAD at any time by uninstalling the app. We reserve the right to:
- Discontinue app support or updates
- Modify or remove features
- Terminate access for violations of these Terms
Upon termination, all locally stored data will remain on your device unless you manually delete it.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted within the app or on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of ANHAD shall be resolved through good faith negotiation.
